<p>PURPOSE:To enable an opening to exactly bored through a branch pipe opening section from the side of a main pipe, by breaking a kerb stop with an embedded position- searching marker inserted in the branch pipe opening section before lining, in search of a position with resonance signal after the lining. CONSTITUTION:A water stop tap 1 for embedding a position searching marker 14 consisting of an antenna coil and a resonance unit, into a position set roughly concentrically with the pipe shaft of a branch pipe A is inserted in the opening section of the branch pipe A before lining. After that, by regenerating pipe construction, the work of the lining of the back-filling agent 17 of mortar or the like injected in a previously set pipe 2, a regenerated pipe 16, and a space between both the pipes is executed. Then, a position-searching and slot-boring robot 18 having a rotary head 22 with an antenna 23 fitted at the one end and an opening-boring cutter 24 fitted at the other end is run, and resonance signal from the marker 14 is received, and by a signal receiving level, an extremely large position is detected.
