摘要 PURPOSE:To stabilize the performance of a vibration isolating device and simplify its tuning in high and low frequency ranges by forming four liquid chambers provided inside a rubber member inserted between a shaft and an outer cylinder in two independent vibration systems, and establishing the extended spring constants of the liquid chambers in each vibration system so that each vibration system may have different value of the constant. CONSTITUTION:Since a vibration system formed of the first and the second liquid chamber 7, 8 and the first orifice passage 14 has a small extended spring constant, the chambers 7, 8 resonate at relatively low frequency to make a large quantity of liquid pass through the passage 14. Thus a very large loss factor can be obtained in a low frequency range, for example at the frequency of 10Hz or so, to effectively control the large amplitude vibration of an engine. In addition, since the vibration system formed of the third and the fourth liquid chamber 9, 10 and the second orifice passage 15 has a large extended spring constant, the chambers 9, 10 resonate in a relatively high frequency range to make a large quantity of liquid pass through the passage 15. Thus a dynamic spring constant in the high frequency range, for example at the frequency of 200Hz or so, can be lessened to effectively check the transmission of the minute vibration to a car body.
