<p>PURPOSE:To renew an old pipe easily by inserting a hose in a sleeve tube having injection holes in its wall, placing this sleeve tube between the oil pipe and a new pipe, and filling the gaps with a backfill material which is fed through the hose and injection holes. CONSTITUTION:A new pipe 2 is inserted in an old pipe 1 with gap reserved between. Into this gap, a sleeve tube 3 having a number of injection holes in its wall is inserted. Into this sleeve tube 3, a hose 4 fitted with a doughnut- shaped seal 5 for prevention of backflow is inserted until attains the end of the old pipe 1. The hose 4 is moved by and by in the direction of drawing out of the sleeve tube 3, and the gap 8 between the old pipe 1 and new pipe 2 is filled with a backfill material 6 uniformly. This permits performing the renewing work of an old pipe, wherein no excavation is required. This work is conducted while the hose is moved, so that a long distance of void can be filled until the backfill material gels.</p> |
