<p>A coupling, preferably designed as a quick-acting coupling, comprises two coupling halves (2, 3) whose sealing surfaces are made of materials having identical coefficients of thermal expansion, in particular a hard metal, and designed to connect by precise clearance fit without conicity or pressing. This dispenses with the need for sealing rings. The coupling gives maintenance-free, trouble-free service with aggressive fluids over a wide range of temperatures.</p> |
