The invention relates to a vibrator (shaker) which, in contrast to the prior art, is conceived according to an electromagnetic principle instead of according to an electrodynamic principle and is thus considerably improved in terms of its efficiency and is clearly minimised in terms of its volume. Exemplary embodiments are described and explained. <IMAGE>
