摘要 Arranged above a conveyor track (1) is a probe wheel (4) which is height adjustable, runs away over the objects (3) and whose level is measured. It has probes (6) distributed over its circumference, which each have a probe surface (7) which comes to bear against the objects (3), and on which the arcuate distance (8), referred to the wheel axle as centrepoint, between adjacent probes (6) is equal to the centreline spacing (9) between the objects (3) succeeding one another along the conveyor track (1). A dedicated rotary drive is provided for the probe wheel (4), and drives the probe wheel at a rotational speed on the probe surfaces (7) which is equal to the rate of conveyance of the objects (3). The level of the probe wheel (4) is measured only if one of the probes (6) bears against one of the objects (3), and in the process the radial beam (52), passing through the point of this bearing, of the probe wheel (4) is vertical. <IMAGE>
