PURPOSE:To produce a flexible polyurethane foam having improved properties and moldability, by pouring a mixture comprising a polyol, a catalyst substantially free of any amine catalyst, a blowing agent, etc. and a polyisocyanate into a mold at a specified temperature and reacting them. CONSTITUTION:A mixture (A) comprising a polyol (a) desirably of an OH value of 20-150mgKOH/g, a catalyst (b) completely free of any amine catalyst or containing at most 0.20pt.wt. amine catalyst per 100pts.wt. component (a), and a blowing agent etc. (c) and a polyisocyanate (B) comprising at least 90wt.% tolylene diisocyanate (d) and, optionally, diphenylmethane diisocyanate (derivative) or a polymethylenepolyphenyl isocyanate (e) in an amount to give an equivalent ratio of the NCO groups in component B to the active hydrogen atoms in component A of 0.8-1.3 are poured into a mold having a temperature of 50-65 deg.C at the start of the reaction and reacted. After foaming is completed, the mixture is cured for 10-20min in an oven at 150-200 deg.C to obtain a flexible polyurethane foam molding. |
