The invention relates to a device making it possible to attach a monobloc metal structure to the outer facades of an existing building. This device consists of securing bars 1 mounted in the pillars of the existing building and on which there bear vertical rods 2, connected to the structure 3 by the shafts 4 integral with this structure, in such a way that these rods transmit the vertical load in the axis of the pillars. The horizonal components of the overturning moments are balanced by vertical shafts 5 integral with the mounted structure and bearing laterally in a horizontal crosspiece 6 previously fixed to the bearing floor 7 of the upper level of the existing building.
