PURPOSE:To improve the judging accuracy by providing a monitor delay means for measuring the passing time after the transmitting of a changing of speed command by an automatic transmission and for starting the monitor of the changed condition of the engine speed when the passing time coincides with the predetermined time. CONSTITUTION:When a changing of speed command is transmitted on the basis of the judged result that an automatic transmission must change speed, the passing time is measured from the instant by a timer means. A monitor delay means makes an engine rotation monitor means not to monitor the changed condition of the engine speed until the passing time coincides with the predetermined time. After passing of the predetermined time, monitoring is started, and when the changed condition of the engine speed showing the start of changing of speed is monitored, the start of changing of speed is judged by the engine speed monitor means. Consequently, even if the signal showing the changed condition of the speed shows the start of changing of speed with the noise, etc. misjudging of the start of changing of speed is eliminated and the judging accuracy can be thus improved. |
