<p>PURPOSE:To prevent a branching section from becoming too rigid by removing a main hose jacket rubber from the vicinity of a branching hole for inserting an auxiliary hose and the auxiliary hose jacket rubber, then inserting the auxiliary hose into the branching hole, and forming joining rubber made unvulcanized rubber in the parts where the jacket rubber is removed. CONSTITUTION:A branching hole 10 is provided in a main hose 1, whereinto an auxiliary hose 2 may be inserted, and a jacket rubber 13 surrounding the branching hole 10 is circularly removed. As for an auxiliary hose 2, a jacket rubber 23 is removed by a specified length from one end thereof, exposing a reinforcing layer 22. The auxiliary hose 2 is inserted into an auxiliary mandrel 41, and the auxiliary hose 2 is inserted into the branching hole 10 in the main hose 1. Next, joining rubber 3 is formed by injection molding on the parts of the auxiliary hose 2 and the main hose 1 where their jacket rubber 13 and 23 are removed. The main hose 1, the auxiliary hose 2, and the joining rubber 3 are then subjected to vulcanization.</p> |
