The invention relates to an anti-panic closing device essentially consisting of a door leaf 1 mounted in a rebated frame 3 by means of hinges 2, characterised in that the rebated frame 3 for receiving the door leaf 1 is mounted in a second rebated frame 4 with the possibility of pivoting about hinges 5 fixed to the latter 4 and to a column 3' of the first frame 3 in a direction opposite to the opening direction of the door 1 mounted in the first frame 3, and in that the first frame 3 is locked in the normal operating position in the second frame 4 by a means 6 actuated by a direct-control device 7 provided in the region of the handle 8 of the door or on the latter or by a remote-control device. <IMAGE>
