The apparatus utilizing a magnetoresistive device for measuring the angle of rotating object comprises a first and a second magnetoresistive devices (A,B) having ribbon shapes which are crossed in long-length axis direction for detecting the angle variation of a rotating object, a third and fourth magnetoresistive devices (C,D) having ribbon shapes which are crossed with one of long length axis of the first or the second device (A,B), a DC power supply (6) connected between the first and the third devices (A,C), and the first and the fourth devices (B,D), and an amplifier (5) for amplifying the output signal of the device by applying the output signal to inverting or non-inverting terminals.
