The invention relates to a device making it possible to rest a telephone handset T comprising a microphone M' and an earpiece E' easily and efficiently on the telephone interface of a computer O so as to offer optimum conditions for transmitting information by telephone at voice frequency, between for example two computers, irrespective of the shape of the handset. It consists of two mobile surfaces 1, one carrying the microphone M of the interface, the other its loudspeaker E, which are each articulated about a hinge 2 and are held in a single plane by a tension system, for example springs 3. When a telephone handset T of any shape is rested on this device, the two surfaces pivot about the hinge 2 following the arrow d, in order to establish optimum contact, with no angle of incidence, between each of the parts, microphone and loudspeaker/earpiece, of the interface and of the handset, held by the pressure afforded by the tension system. The device according to the invention is particularly intended for computers with telephone interface. <IMAGE>
