PURPOSE:To prevent a tile being moved in a polishing width by fixing a pair of guides slightly lower than the height of a tile to both ends of the substrate having slightly smaller width than that of a transfer device and linking mutually each jig having plural setscrews fitted with a ball at the tip for fixing a tile to the side part of this guide. CONSTITUTION:Plural tiles 1 are placed between a pair of guides 11 of a jig, the set screw 13 of the side face is tightened and the tile 1 is fixed between the guides 11. At this time, the ball 14 at the tip of the setscrew 13 transmits a fastening torque to the tile 1 to prevent the tile 1 being moved. The jig fixing this tile 1 is placed on the end part of the transfer device of the continuous grinding and polishing device of the tile 1 one by one, the jig is mutually linked by linking fittings 18, 19, the tile 1 is transferred in joint and subjected to polishing. |
