<p>PURPOSE:To guide plural kinds of tapes without being damaged and also to adapt them to plural kinds of tape formats by providing an annular belt part, which is freely protrudable and sinkable in a radial direction in response to an operation state of the subject device, on one part of the outer cylindrical surfaced of a fixed drum. CONSTITUTION:A motor 29 is properly turned and stopped by operating the selection of a tape format, and a tape guide drum 20 is set at an angle of inclination phi1 corresponding to the format by means of rigidity of a steel belt. Under such circumstances, a tape 1 drawn from a supply reel 44 is wound around the outer cylindrical surface 21a of the drum 20 within an angle range defined by slanting guide poles 39 and 40 while the tape 1 is in contact with an erasing head 45 and an impedance roller 48, and the tape 1 is then brought into contact with an audio control head 47, forming a tape path down to a take-up reel 48, where a pinch roller 49 and a capstan 50 act on the tape to travel. Now, when a plunger 72 is operated to bring a fixed point F1 between the plunger 72 and an engagement member 70 into an operation position G1, the member 70 and the drum 21a are positioned on the same plane.</p> |
