Setting video recording termination timing - using steps of timer selection, termination time sitting and termination in accordance with lapse of time

The system control microcomputer (107) executes a stored main program (104) when the recording key or ERS function key of a remote controller (101) is actuated or the time and prevailing recording channel number are entered via a keyboard (109). The time of termination of the recording is shown on a Digitron electroluminescent display (108). If during execution of the main program the recording key or ERS function key is operated, the setting or variation is taken up by the ERS operating routine (105) and the termination time is stored in proper memory. The display (108) responds and a timer operation routine (106) is implemented. USE/ADVANTAGE - Duration of recording is easily altered at user's discretion by utilisation of ERS recording function.
