The optical deflection system guides optical radiation from two spaces (HR1, HR2) separated by a first plane (E1) into a flat area (F) belonging to a second plane (E2) dividing the spaces into quadrants (Q). The radiation from one space is reflected into the other. The angular range (beta) of the radiation after reflection w.r.t. the normal (N) is less than before (phi). A collimating lens collimates the radiation from the one space. The collimated radiation is reflected onto an optoelectronic transducer.
