<p>PURPOSE: To obtain an excellent vibration absorbing property by containing a weight in a closed inner cavity of an elastically deformable member and making it movable in response to a given vibration. CONSTITUTION: A tennis racket 10 is formed of a composite material and is provided with a strung head 11 and a handle 12. The handle 12 is provided with two adjacent cavities symmetrical with respect to the axial line around the longitudinal axial line of the racket 10, and each cavity contains an elastically deformable member 20 or 20A with a closed inner cavity in which a weight 21 or 21A is placed. The weight 21 or 21A is formed of, for instance, a metal rod of 7g.</p> |
