PURPOSE:To reduce clogging of a grindstone and surface defect of an aluminum alloy substrate by grinding the aluminum alloy substrate in a water-soluble abrasive liquid containing oil or fat and fatty acid with straight chain alkylbenzene sulfonate added therein. CONSTITUTION:The aluminum alloy substrate is ground in the water-soluble abrasive liquid containing oil or fat and fatty acid with straight chain alkylbenzene sulfonate added therein. Cleaning effect, namely, dispersion effect of the salt prevents grinding chips produced in the grinding process from depositing on the grindstone or the aluminum alloy substrate. Thus, clogging of the grindstone or generation of defect on the aluminum alloy substrate is suppressed. |
