PURPOSE:To easily produce an ultrathin-film laminate having uniform thickness by providing a still water surface retainer at a part between the polymer soln. supply mechanism and supporting base material moving mechanism in a water tank so that a part of the retainer is exposed from the water surface. CONSTITUTION:The water tank 3 is filled with a polymer soln. developing liq., and a polymer soln. is supplied over the water surface in the tank 3 by the polymer soln. supply mechanisms 1 and 2 provided at one end of the tank 3. A supporting base material 9 is brought into continuous contact with the ultrathin film of the polymer soln. by the supporting base material moving mechanisms 6-8 provided at the other end of the tank 3, and the film is stuck on the base material and integrated. The still water surface retainer 10 is provided at a part between the supply mechanisms 1 and 2 and the base material moving mechanisms 6-8 in the tank 3 so that a part of the retainer 10 is exposed from the water surface. As a result, the effect of a wave generated by the traveling of the base material is excluded. Accordingly, the polymer soln. is quantitatively supplied over the water surface, and an ultrathinfilm laminate having uniform thickness is easily produced. |
