PURPOSE:To make shopless sales by providing a member side with a telephone set and TV unit, providing the system on a selling company side with voice/ character correspondence files, rule bases, and a memory device for image films as well as the functions to make voice/character conversion, received word understanding and image retrieval, connecting the system with the member side via an ISDN and answering to inquiries. CONSTITUTION:The selling company receives orders, etc., from the members over the telephone set 4. A voice/character array converting means 10 executes member identification 1001, key word retrieval 1002 and operand retrieval 1003 by using the files 111 for customers, 112 for keywords and 113 for operands and by referring to a received word list 12. A received word understanding means 13 executes rule retrieval 1301 from the rule bases 14, and formation 1302 of retrieval conditions and supplies the same to an image retrieving means 17 and a retrieving condition table 15. The image retrieving means 17 executes retrieval 1701 from the image files 18, displays the same on a display device 5 via a signal transmission means 1702 and supplies the same via a retrieval history table 16 to the retrieval condition formation 1302 of the received word understanding means 13. The shopless sales is enabled by this system. |
