PURPOSE:To improve the maintenance of software by applying respectively different super user IDs to different users having different hardwares by one software version and accessing the IDs to maintain a data base. CONSTITUTION:In order to read out an inherent key code 10 set up in a hard ware 1 from a software 2, fixed data constituting the key code 10 is held in a register with 2-byte length. A key code reading part 11 reads in the data directly from the register. On the other hand, cipher processing part 12 ciphers and converts 2-byte key code data into a 26-ary number consisting of 8-digit. Respective digits of the 26-ary number are converted into alphabets by the following rule. Namely, the 2-byte key code is converted into the Roman letter consisting of 8 digit by a procedure such as 0 A, 1 B, 2 C... 25 Z and the converted Roman letter are used as a super user ID. Thus, respective ly different super user IDs can be applied to different users having different hardwares. |
