PURPOSE:To form a smooth surface by winding helically a tape made of hard metal foil or synthetic resin, not to be softened at the vulcanizing temperature, of specified thickness and smooth, on the outer periphery of an unvulcanized rubber hose. CONSTITUTION:A tape made of hard metal foil or synthetic resin, not to be softened at the vulcanizing temperature, of 50mum thickness or less and with a smooth surface is wound helically on the outer periphery of an unvulcanized rubber hose with an outer surface rubber layer and vulcanized. The thickness of tape is made 50mum or less, and the differences in level generated on the overlapped sections on the surface of unvulcanized rubber hose are made small and creases generated in line-shape on the surface of the rubber hose can be made not to be noticed. A hard metal foil tape made of a film tape of polyamide resin, polyimide resin, silicon resin or fluorine resin, or a hard metal foil such as steel or stainless not to be softened at the vulcanizing temperature with a smooth surface can be used as the material of the tape. Metal such as aluminum or zinc is scarce of durability for repeated use and not suitable for use. A steel or a stainless foil tape, although hard, are thin enough to be sufficiently flexible along with the rubber hose. |
