An input circuit (11) converts external signals to the internal circuit signal level. The converted signals are processed by a logic circuit (12) contg. interpreting logic and by an essentially simpler throughput circuit (14). A selection circuit (15) selects the output signals of either the logic or throughput circuits depending on a control signal. An output circuit (13) connected to the selection circuit converts its output signals to the external signal level. The throughput circuit may pass signals directly, invert them, or may perform combinatorial logic operations. In the latter two cases at least two output signals corresp. to one input signal. |
