<p>PURPOSE: To facilitate the manufacture of a lock to be used for an anti-theft device for a steering column by fitting a plural number of discs provided with slits on their outer periphery on a shaft through an interlock and devising it to connect and disconnect bolts of the lock to and from the slits. CONSTITUTION: An anti-theft device for a steering column is devised to connected and disconnect a bolt 12 of a lock including a case 13 to and from a holding part 20 by fixing the holding part 20 of the lock on a peripheral part 11 of a hollow shaft 10. The holding part 20 is constituted of discs 21..., each of the discs 21 is constituted by providing slits 212 on a part of an outer periphery, and a recessed part 23 is formed by conforming each of the slits 212 with each other. Thereafter, each of the discs 21 is fitted on the shaft 10 impossible to rotate by an interlock 30 consisting of at least a pair of projected part 31/notch 32. The projected part 31/the notch 32 are respectively formed, one of them in a through hole of the disc 21 and the other on the peripheral part 11 of the shaft 10.</p> |
