PURPOSE:To obtain the title oil which hardly decays and can be utilized for cutting and grinding and in various metal working fields, by using an oligomer of an a-olefin having the number of carbon atoms in a specified range and/or a hydrogenated derivative thereof as constituent. CONSTITUTION:A 6-14C alpha-olefin oligomer (e.g. 1-decene oligomer) and/or a hydrogenated derivative thereof is mixed, if necessary, with an anionic emulsifier (e.g. diethanolamine salt of oleic acid) and, in addition, a nonionic emulsifier (e.g. polyoxyethylene nonylphenyl ether). |
