<p>According to the invention, replacement products for bone-like and radiculo-alveolar structures can be made from mother of pearl taken from the test of aquatic molluscs provided that they are histo-compatible, osteo-imitative, osteo-inductor, bio-active, non-biodegradable, and, above all, have mechanical properties comparable to those of human bone and of natural dental roots.</p> |
