<p>The invention relates to devices for continuous casting of non-ferrous and ferrous metals and their alloys. The device comprises a receptacle (1) for the melt (2) with an outlet opening (3) in its bottom part, an electromagnetic inductor (5) and a system (8) for cooling the strip (4). According to the invention, the cooling system (8) is combined together with the inductor (5) and consists of current through chambers (9, 10) located along the perimeter of the external wall of the inductor (5), and of radial channels (15) passing through the body of the inductor (5) and connecting the current through chambers (9, 10) with a space (16) comprised between the internal walls of the inductor (5).</p> |
