<p>An oxide superconductor of the molecular formula: MBa2-xCaxCu3O7-x, wherein M represents La, etc., and 0 < x « 1.8 except the case where x = 1.0. Other examples of the superconductor include those prepared by adding at least one member selected from the group consisting of Ca2CuO3, CaCu2O3 and CaO in a total amount of 0.01 to 60 % by weight to 1 mol of MBa2Cu3O7-x, 1 mol of at least one member selected from the group consisting of Tl2Ca2Ba2Cu3Oy, Tl1Ca2Ba2Cu3Oy, (Tl, Pb)1(Sr, Ca)4Cu3Oy, and (Tl, Pb)1(Sr, Ca)3Cu2Oy, or 1 mol of (Bi, Pb)2Sr2Ca2Cu3Oy or/and Bi2Sr2Ca2Cu3Oy.</p> |
