Process for pasteurising/cooking various organic waste substances with a view to composting: characterised in that this waste is placed in an insulated enclosure (1) where it is broadly moistened. The enclosure (1) is then closed and ventilated from the ground to expel the carbon dioxide-saturated air enclosed in the vegetable mass, thus giving rise to a considerable exothermic reaction lasting approximately a fortnight. This waste is then removed from the enclosure (1) by means of a simple tractor fitted with a front fork; it is deposited on natural ground, sheltered from inclement weather, where it is composted by the action of microorganisms, enzymes and the like. This pasteurisation/cooking enables any overturning of the piles to be subsequently avoided, thus saving the purchase of energy-consuming specialised machines, their maintenance and their use. The construction of a ground capable of carrying vehicles is no longer necessary, nor that of a water filtration tank. In addition, this pasteurisation/cooking takes place without giving off bad odours. It is a guarantee of success of the maturation process which follows therefrom.
|
