<p>PURPOSE: To obtain a blow-molded bottle with a skirt having a wide lower edge and integrally molded with a bottom by inwardly bending a lower end of the skirt by an elasticity of a material to form a flat surface of an inwardly bent overhang during stretching by using a parison having an annular skirt extending down. CONSTITUTION: A parison is expanded in a blowing mold 40. And, a skirt 38 is grasped by a pawl piece 50 and radially expanded by bi-axially stretching a PET material corresponding to an expansion of a bottom 35 of a bottle. Simultaneously, the piece is retracted from the mold via a blowing mold bottom 51. Since a lower edge 54 of the skirt is extended over an operating surface 53 of the piece, this part naturally resists against the stretching, and hence an inner tension radially bends the part in a direction of a recess 55 provided at a lower part of the surface 53. And, while the parison 30 is blow molded in a shape of a completed bottle, an annular protruding overhang 29 bent inward is formed at the skirt 28 of the bottle.</p> |
