<p>PURPOSE: To reduce a risk at the time of pulling a new warp thread or repairing a weft thread in a shed, etc., by using a locking element capable of locking the rotation of a main shaft and engaging with a wheel coupled to the main shaft and equipped with gear teeth. CONSTITUTION: This weaving machine is obtained by installing a lock 41 for locking the weaving machine so as not to rotate a main shaft 12 in the weaving machine with the lock 41 equipped with an electromagnetic brake for operating the main shaft 12 by electric energization. The lock 41 is composed of a locking element 44 engaging with a wheel 42 coupled to the main shaft 12 and equipped with gear teeth to thereby reduce a risk at the time of pulling a new warp thread through a reed and harness cords, repairing a weft thread in a shed and regulating a gripper course on a gripper weaving machine.</p> |
