(c=0.1, methanol solution); solubility, easily soluble in methanol, acetic acid and DMSO, scarcely soluble in ethyl acetate, chloroform and acetone, insoluble in petroleum ether and water; color reaction, positive to iodinc reaction, Leyden-Smith reaction, etc., and negative to sulfuric acid, ninhydrin, etc.; etc. USE:Ca-dependent neutral protease and cathepsin B inhibiting agent.
