Fuel injection valve for IC engine - has compressed air tube opening into blind hole in tip of nozzle

The injection valve is for an air-compressing direct-injecting IC engine. It has a nozzle body with a nozzle needle. lifted with its conical seat off a conical valve seat against a spring and against the fuel flow direction. In the closing position, the needle tip dips into a blind hole, from which extends an injection hole. A compressed air feed tube (9) opens into the blind hole. The feed tube is closed at opening pressure of the nozzle needle (4). The feed tube is located in the needle, and connects the spring chamber and the blind hole.
