According to the invention, a cropping unit for pipes is made which is particularly suitable for application on pipe-bending machines. It comprises: - a unit for clamping 40 the pipe 7 to crop, composed of a pair of dies 8, 9 with a semicircular concave profile 10, 11 facing one another; - a nicking unit 60 composed of at least one nicking tool 25 arranged in a tangential direction with respect to the pipe to crop 7 and fixed to a tangential slide 23 which moves in a tangential direction with respect to the pipe 7 itself; - a cropping unit 50 composed of a cropping tool 22 transversally mobile with respect to pipe 7 to crop, which meets it in correspondence to the nick made by the nicking machine 25; - means suitable for creating the movement of the dies 8, 9 and of the tools 25, 22. <IMAGE> |
