PURPOSE:To make a copying speed higher than in a case that an exposure lamp is turned on/off every scanning by keeping the lamp in an on-state while scanning is performed specified times in the case of consecutive scanning copying. CONSTITUTION:In the case of consecutive copying, the exposure lamp 8 is kept in the on-state through a constant-voltage control circuit 9 according to the command of a control unit 29 while the scanning is performed N times, which is previously set in a memory 31. When a scanner return signal is outputted after the scanning is performed N times, the lamp 8 is turned off. It is unnecessary to consider the on/off time and the starting time of the lamp 8, so that the time which is until next operation is started since a scanner returns to a home position becomes short. |
