Tanker lorry of the type which transports water and has installed in it a pump with which, via suitable means, it irrigates squares, streets and the like, characterized in that, unlike known tanker lorries in which said pump is generally connected to the engine of the actual lorry and which make a great deal of noise, this lorry is very quiet as it comprises a cabinet 11 inside which is installed the pump 17, as well as an auxiliary actuating motor 15 and the mechanism 16 which connects both, said inside of the cabinet 11 being suitably soundproofed and cooled with suitable means. The soundproofing means consist of individual spongy liners 25, 26 and the cooling means of a radiator 20, with electrofan and a filter 21, which is mounted opposite an inlet 19 provided in the cabinet 11 for aspirating air and radiating it inwards, from which it returns to the outside via an appropriate outlet 22 from said cabinet 11, the inside of which is divided into two communicating compartments 12, 13. <IMAGE>
