The excavator (1) has a bucket (8) attached to the end of its outer arm (4). This bucket is attached by means of a quick coupling device which is actuated by compressed air and which can be controlled from the driver's cab. The compressed air required to actuate the coupling is stored in the hollow outer arm (3) which is used as a compressed air storage bottle. The inner arm (2) may also be made hollow and used as an additional storage bottle for compressed air. USE - Excavators.
