Attachment of fuel pressure regulator - by means of clamp attached to collar fixed to fuel system housing

An engine has a low pressure fuel system which is enclosed in a housing (1). The housing is provided with a short tubular projection (2) to receive a pressure regulator. The tubular projection is fitted with a collar (6) which has a lug (7) and a bolt (11) arranged in diametrically opposite positions. The lug engages a slot in a lug (9) on one side of a clamp (14) which has a diametrically opposite hole which engages that bolt (11) attached to the collar (6). The clamp (4) is then secured by a nut. USE/ADVANTAGE - The pressure regulator is easily fitted and removed.
