The seat adjustment has an eccentric drive for the adjusting gears. The eccentric cam (2) is located on the support axle (3) by a radial pin (1) with a surrounding spring (4) to press the eccentric drive into the meshing gear teeth. The pin is guided in a round bore through the axle. The whole fitting ensures a secure meshing of the adjusting teeth with the top of the pin having a sliding fit in a shaped bore of the axle (1b).
