PURPOSE:To execute super high-speed competition control by providing a beam multiplexing splitting means, competition detecting means, optical signal separating means, beam delay means and beam multiplexing means. CONSTITUTION:When an optical signal X does not compete with a signal Y, the light power of the optical signal (X+Y)/2 is small and therefore, the optical signal is outputted from an LPP filter 5 through an optical highway 6, optical multiplexer 9 and output optical highway 6a. On the other hand, when the signals compete, the signal is supplied from an HPP filter 4 through an optical highway 6a to an optical signal separator 7. Then, the signal is separated from the optical signals X and Y and the optical signal Y is supplied to a beam delay circuit 8, hourly delayed, supplied to the optical multiplexer 9, afterwards multiplexed and outputted. In such a way, the competition is detected by the light power and competition control is executed. Thus, the competition control is executed at high speed regardless of the form of the signal or transmission speed. |
