of the disclosure: For refining existing methods of measurement for the testing of the sealing of containers, the container temperature is measured during the detection of a pressure value which is employed for indicating leakage. A limit pressure value, predetermined at a corresponding temperature, for determining whether a container satisfies seal requirements is corrected in accordance with the actual measurement temperature, and then the actual pressure value and the limit pressure value at the same temperature are compared. In this way, pressure variations related from temperature changes are taken into account. |
