PURPOSE:To enable an improvement in operating efficiency at the time of a change of size by positioning easily and reliably an upper clamp part by electrical treatment, by a method wherein a detector stopping the upper clamp part at a fixed position by detecting a vertical movement quantity of a piston is provided on a hydraulic cylinder. CONSTITUTION:An upper clamp part 3 is lowered downward by a method wherein at the time of vulcanization molding, a green tire 1 is put on a bottom force 8, to begin with, then a hydraulic cylinder 15 is actuated in a contracting direction and a piston rod 18 is moved downward. In this instance, since a piston 17 is moved downward, a position of a magnet 22 to a fixing rod 21 is lowered downward and an electric signal corresponding to a movement quantity of the magnet 22 is put out through a main body 20 side of a detector 19. Therefore, when a position of the upper clamp part 3 is set up beforehand by a setting instrument, a detected position to be detected by the detector 19 and a set up value of a setting instrument 24 are compared by a comparator with each other and when both of them become coincident with each other, the comparator puts out a stopping signal. Therefore, a control valve is returned to neutral, the hydraulic cylinder 15 suspends a contracting action and the upper clamp part 3 is stopped automatically at a fixed position. |
