PREPARATION OF FOAM LAMINATED SHEET

PURPOSE:To prepare a foam laminated sheet without generating depression or undulation and without damaging appearance by integrally laminating a foam sheet and a stripe like foam. CONSTITUTION:A laminating roll and a ring are formed from a metal or a natural or synthetic resin but material quality capable of withstanding heating for lamination is selected. Two foam substrates 11 and a plurality of stripe like foams 12 are fed in the direction shown by an arrow while heated by a heater 13 and passed between a roll 14 fitted with a ring and a molding roll 15 to be laminated. At this time, the ring height of the roll 14 fitted with the ring is set to 80% of the thickness of each stripe like foam 12 and the ring width thereof is made same to the interval between the stripe like foams 12. Further, the roll gap is variously altered between 50 - 100% of lamination thickness and a foam laminated sheet having slit like unevenness on the upper surface thereof is obtained. The obtained sheet has no depression or undulation and is finished beautifully.
