PURPOSE:To dynamically alter operation of surround effect even during performance and to generate a clean musical sound from which noises are removed by controlling sound volume and the balance between a front output and a surround output without using any voltage control amplifier. CONSTITUTION:The sound volume of the entirety and its distribution are instructed by an instruction means 2 in advance and then the 1st sound volume of output from a front speaker 13 and the 2nd sound volume of output from a surround speaker 18 are calculated by a 1st arithmetic means 3 and stored in a 1st storage means 5. Then a musical sound signal generated by a sound source module 6 and the 1st sound volume information stored in the 1st storage means 5 are multiplied by a 1st multiplying means 20 to generate the front output. The signal generated by delaying a musical sound signal generated by the sound source module 6 by a delay means 9 and the 2nd sound volume information stored in the 1st storage means 5 are multiplied by a 2nd multiplying means 21 to generate the surround output. Consequently, how the surround effect operates can be varied dynamically even during the performance and the clean musical sound from which noises are removed can be generated.
