The front clamp has a casing (105) which encloses a spring (105a, 105b). Two levers (108a,108b) hold the sole of the boot laterally. They are adjustable round smooth vertical pins (107a, 107b) mounted in the casing. Each lever slides on the pin and a coil spring (110a, 110b) presses it against the upper surface of the boot's sole. The casing has projecting extensions, over the pins, which are parallel to the ski's upper surface. The upper ends of the springs rest against the extensions and their lower ends are held in hollows in the levers. USE - The front clamp is for the safety bindings of skis.
