The present invention relates to an annular reinforcement applicable to swimming pools made of polyester. According to the invention, it consists of parts which can be differentiated by their shape (1, 2) and which, once they have been assembled by means of screws, form a peripheral ring structure adaptable to the contour of a swimming pool. The parts consist of metal profiles (3) of circular cross-section which are placed in parallel and which are joined by diagonal crosspieces (4) which form a broken line.
