Device for breaking-out optical fibres beyond a jacketed end of a cable. It comprises a conical piece 7A, 7B made of elastomer having peripheral grooves 8 for receiving the optical fibres, tubes 9 for protecting the optical fibres in these grooves, a thin metal tube 10 in the axial opening of the conical piece, provided with grooves or knurled, a rigid plastic tube 11 engaged on the small end of the conical piece and on the jacketed end of the cable, a sealing material 12 around the middle of the conical piece, a sealing material 13 around the end of the non-stripped cable, a sleeve 14 made of heat-shrinkable material around the end of the non-stripped cable, the rigid tube and the conical piece, this heat-shrinkable sleeve being shrunk over these three elements, and a clamping collar (ring, clip) collar 15 gripping the sleeve shrunk on the conical piece.
