PURPOSE:To prevent generation of abnormal voltage by consuming a current, which is stored in a coil at the output side of a chopper circuit, at the load side when the driving power source of the chopper circuit and that of an inverter circuit is cut off. CONSTITUTION:An AC power source 1 is rectified with a rectification circuit 2 and applied to both ends of an X-ray tube 6 via a smoothing coil L1, a transformer 4, and rectification circuits 5 after pulse-duration modulation with a transistor Tr1. when AC power supply is stopped, the transistor Tr1 stops supply of voltage from a smoothing capacitor C1, and transistors Tr2 and Tr3 supply voltage from the smoothing coil L1. Therefore, the current stored in the smoothing coil L1 is supplied to the load side via the transistors Tr2 and Tr3. |
