PURPOSE:To form the optical transmission system formed by using the optical polymer having excellent transparency and heat resistance by consisting the org. polymer which constitutes the optical transmission part of a specific polymer. CONSTITUTION:The polymer of the optical transmission part is formed of the amorphous polymer which has <=40% deuterium substitution rate of the hydrogen within a repeating unit, contains <40wt.% fluorine and satisfies formulas I, II. In the formulas I, II, (p) denotes a polymer density (g/cm<3>); M denotes the mol.wt.(g/mol) of the repeating unit; nCH, nNH, nOH denote the number of bonds of the C-H bond, N-H bond and O-H bond in the repeating unit; nc, n0, ns respectively denote the total number of the benzene rings in the respective repeating units, the number of the benzene rings adjacent to a carbonyl group and the number of the benzene rings adjacent to a sulfur atom. The optical transmission system for which the optical polymer having the excellent transparency and heat resistance is formed in this way. |
